From the parking a path with wide steps leads down and splits toward the three activities.\n\nThe rappel is short and vertical, from bolted stations on the north side, with pine trees and scree at the foot of the cliff. The climbing wall is long, with routes right beside the path at easy to moderate grades. Along the way is a memorial sign for Nir Melech, after whom the route 'Derech HaMelech' is named.\n\nThe via ferrata has two starts: the short one leaves from the climbing area, and the long one is at the end of the main path, after a slippery stretch, by a sign listing the required gear.
