Swimming and entering the water are allowed, and the Yehudiya route requires being able to swim.\n\nIn recent years rocks have collapsed from the canyon cliffs, so its popular part has been closed to hikers, and the descent to the Zavitan falls on the blue trail is also closed for safety. The data records no rappels in Nahal Yehudiya itself.
