You rappel with your back to the Makhtesh and its wide-open view. The cliff is bolted along its whole length with chemical bolts and has many stations at different heights, so large groups can rappel side by side.\n\nThe rappel is easy: mostly on a slab, with a few overhanging sections. Climbing on this cliff is forbidden, and so is rappelling after dark.\n\nAccess is very short: from the parking walk toward the restaurant until you reach the edge.
