The site is well set up: an entrance plaza, parking, toilets, picnic tables and marked trails, including routes that descend the cliff with handholds.\n\nRappelling at Arbel is forbidden and actively enforced. The ban protects the cliff's wildlife: cliff-nesting birds such as the wallcreeper and the blue rock thrush, and the Arbel door snail, which lives only here.\n\nA group coming to Arbel should plan a hike and viewpoints, not a rope activity. Entry is paid and advance booking is recommended.
